Welcome to Bob Aldis’ Bushido Martial Arts in Richmond
“We’re Building America’s Principled, Character Based Leaders One Black Belt At A Time”
I’m Bob Aldis Sensei, founder and chief instructor of Bob Aldis’ Bushido Martial Arts Inc. Thank you for taking the time to visit our dojo (school) website. Finding a place to call home to study martial arts for yourself, your child, or your family here in Richmond, is an important decision. We also do serve the townships of New Haven, Chesterfield, Armada and New Baltimore.
Developing the competence and confidence to defend yourself is crucial in today’s world. But the greatest benefits of training at our dojo go far beyond self-defense. The Life Skills, Character Development, and Leadership Skills that come from training in our specialized, age specific, traditional martial arts classes, are experienced and achieved through regular practice, over an extended period of time.
In your search, it is important to understand that all martial arts schools are not created equal. We all teach many of the same martial arts skills. But, where you will find the greatest difference between Bob Aldis’ Bushido Martial Arts and other schools is in the cleanliness of our dojo, the professionalism and depth of knowledge of our instructors, not only in technical knowledge, but also in the science of teaching. We consistently hear from our students and parents that they really like the practical and realistic techniques they are learning, and the friendly, family atmosphere. But most of all they appreciate the traditional family values, morals, and ethics that are being taught in class. I actually had one parent tell us, “You are not only teaching my child to be a black belt in the martial arts, but also a black belt in life”.
Our mission is to help our students live safer, healthier, more balanced lives, and become America’s principled, character-based leaders through our seven qualities of Black Belt character. If you think we might be what you are looking for, please feel free to continue reading more about our programs or you can give us a call at 586-727-3381 to set an appointment to come visit our dojo.
